Listed on the Mumbai stock exchange, Jumbo Bag Ltd (JBL) is headquartered in Chennai, India, and is part of the BLISS Group of companies. Jumbo Bag Ltd has been a frontrunner in the packaging industry for more than three decades, being the first to design and construct Jumbo Bags/FIBCs in India. The company is based in Chennai, South India and embodies an entrepreneurial family ethos that was instilled by its late founder, Shri Gorantla Ramalingaiah who aspired to build a thriving enterprise. Starting as a financial entity, BLISS Group diversified into manufacturing in 1970 by acquiring a struggling packaging unit. BLISS Group is a specialist in manufacturing packaging materials, offering a wide range of industrial packaging with capacities ranging from 2 to 24,000 kgs. The company has earned numerous national and international awards and patents for its dedication to Research and Development. The company was the first to introduce Jumbo Bags or Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers, to the Indian market, playing a crucial role in raising awareness of bulk packaging.

BLISS Group has eight administrative offices and eight manufacturing facilities across the country, and the packaging division alone contributes to over 90% of the group’s net sales, making it a market leader in the industry. The Group has diversified into various industries, including Agriculture, Consulting, Construction and Trading.
